We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998) to send products to you by mail order (unless you register for our email newsletter) The information that we collect is as follows:

Ordering and Payment

Mail Order payment is by credit / debit card.


Please allow up to 5 working days for retail deliveries. If an order is urgent, please indicate this on your order form, we aim to send out orders as soon as possible.

Postage and Packaging

Postage and packaging costs are calculated automatically and shown in the “Cart” page and beyond. This only applies to mainland UK.


All soaps dispatched from Spanish Olive Oil Soap company are boxed and enclosed in a padded Jiffy bag. Unfortunately, we cannot be held responsible for damage that occurs in transit. Any damaged goods should be returned immediately to us and will be replaced. No moneys can be refunded for damaged goods, if a replacement is not acceptable, we will issue a credit note. All returned products must be unused.

Faulty Goods

In the case of “faulty” goods, the Sale of Goods Act 1979 [as amended] established that the consumer is allowed a reasonable time within which to reject the goods for a full refund. We give a period of 7 days from receipt of the goods, for the customer to reject the goods and return them for a refund. All other refunds are made at the discretion of the company. Cancellations In line with the Distance Selling Regulations 2000, we would like it to be stated that where a consumer cancels their order (within the 7 day period allowance) a refund will be provided within 30 days of “cancellation”. The consumer will be held liable for the cost of returns if the order has already been processed and moneys received.


In the unlikely event that a customer would need to complain, we endeavour to respond to all complaints within five working days and will try and resolve the situation as soon as possible. Replacements Because the handmade soap we manufacture needs at least 2 weeks curing time, occasionally if a soap that has been ordered is not “ready” we will send a similar replacement. Contracts do not affect the consumers’ statutory rights.
